Active research at present involving MagTense includes understand the physical phenomena limited the coercivity of permanent magnets, a work sponsored by the Poul Due Jensen Foundation.
MagTense is also being actively used in the Independent Research Fund Denmark project "Getting the most out of magnetocaloric materials for high efficiency refrigeration" to simulate the magnetic behavior within magnetocaloric materials.
